BuildingConnected, an Autodesk company, is a bid management platform that connects owners, contractors and subcontractors. The team faced a challenge: matching bidders to jobs relied on historical data and assumptions about how far subcontractors were willing to travel, which limited the accuracy of opportunity discovery.

By implementing Mapbox Boundaries, BuildingConnected added a simple visual tool that lets contractors draw and confirm the exact areas where they perform work. Since the feature launched, more than 76,000 offices have defined or confirmed service regions, enabling more relevant invitations to bid through improved search and recommendation systems and giving owners and general contractors more time to focus on choosing the right trades.
