American Logistics Aid Network scales disaster response visibility with Mapbox and 160k-point supply chain data

The nonprofit American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) faced a challenge navigating the fragmented landscape of government regulations and supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic. To coordinate disaster relief logistics, ALAN needed a way to provide its partners with a unified, real-time view of critical supply chain information. They partnered with Everstream Analytics, which used Mapbox GL JS to build a solution.

Everstream Analytics implemented the interactive, map-based Supply Chain Intelligence Center (SCIC) using Mapbox. This solution provided a scalable platform to visualize massive datasets, enabling hundreds of ALAN partners to monitor real-time road, port, and airport statuses and track storms. The Mapbox platform ensured reliable performance even during high usage spikes, providing the clear visualizations and smooth rendering needed for efficient disaster response and operational fortification.
