How AdSocial Worked With An Australian Local Government to Showcase A Tourism Destination

AdSocial, a creative social media and digital marketing agency in Western Australia, worked with an Australian local government tourism destination, Swan Valley Visitor Centre, to modernize a paper-trail map for a family rally event and better engage visitors. Using ManyChat’s Messenger bot platform, AdSocial aimed to create a more interactive, trackable experience while also collecting email leads for future events.

ManyChat enabled AdSocial to build a “treasure hunt” bot with click-to-Messenger ads, Facebook Comments Growth Tool, event reminders, Google Maps routing, and interactive content like selfie frames, GIFs, audio, coupons, and certificates. The campaign drove nearly 1,000 activations in the first trial period, with an 89% ad-to-bot click-through rate, 81% email opt-in rate, and 97% positive review rate, leading Swan Valley to extend the program from a three-month trial to a 12-month minimum.
