A Manhattan Associates Case Study

Preview of the Wincanton Case Study

Wincanton standardizes operations on Manhattan Supply Chain Commerce Platform

Wincanton is a leading UK and Ireland supply chain provider operating 200 sites, 1.8 million m² of warehousing, 3,500 vehicles and 16,000 employees with turnover over £1bn. Facing rapid growth and many legacy systems from acquisitions, Wincanton needed a flexible, centrally managed warehouse platform that could support multiple customers and channels, improve visibility and agility, and integrate with diverse third‑party systems while providing strong on‑site support.

Wincanton selected Manhattan Associates’ WMOS for its scalability, modularity, fast start‑up and integration strengths. Using a largely standard template (80–90% functionality) and a standardized implementation process, Wincanton has deployed the solution for more than 50 customers, reduced complexity, sped up onboarding and integration, streamlined workflows, and driven productivity improvements that support continued customer growth.
