Epes implemented Manhattan Associates’ Profit Analyzer in a two-month rollout beginning December 2021, enabling load-specific costing (tractor and trailer time under load, detention, driver types and pay, tolls, customer-specific costs) and new variance metrics (System, Lane, Origin, Customer). The result: more confident, shipment-level decisions, streamlined bid responses and rate negotiations, and a projected annualized profitability swing of up to $200,000 from optimizing freight selection on a single three-lane bid opportunity.
