Rapid Launch of Ship From Store Fuels Pvh’s Ecommerce Boom

PVH Corp., owner of brands like Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER, faced a sudden shift to mostly digital sales when COVID-19 forced temporary store closures. With stocked stores but surging online demand, the company needed to quickly scale fulfillment and access in-store inventory to satisfy customers.

PVH used Manhattan Distributed Order Management to expose store inventory to e-commerce, route orders to the optimal fulfillment location, and reroute processes in about three weeks. The change expanded fulfillment capacity and assortment, drove Q2 2020 digital revenue growth of over 50% (direct channels up 87% year‑over‑year), and turned ship‑from‑store and contactless omnichannel fulfillment into lasting parts of PVH’s strategy.
