Raia Drogasil Optimizes Warehouse Management With a Manhattan Perscription

RaiaDrogasil S.A., Brazil’s largest pharmacy chain with 11 distribution centres and more than 2,300 stores across 23 states, needed to modernize its warehouse management as part of a digital transformation to expand ecommerce and better align operations with its mission to care for customers’ health. The company required a robust, scalable WMS that could run without pausing operations, improve inventory availability and accuracy, support multichannel fulfillment and boost labor productivity.

Raia Drogasil implemented Manhattan Associates’ WMS across all DCs, along with Slotting Optimisation and Labour Management, and trained internal teams to carry out further rollouts autonomously. The project delivered unified control of DC operations, total traceability, a 30% reduction in receiving time, improved stock accuracy and clearer resource visibility — accelerating ecommerce fulfilment and raising overall productivity.
