PT Multitrend Indo Selects Manhattan Associates to Optimise Warehouse Operations and Support Rapid Growth

PT Multitrend Indo, a fast-growing Indonesian retailer operating 33 stores and a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse handling about 15,000 SKUs, needed better control of receiving, put-away, picking and replenishment after relying on manual Excel/Access processes. Rapid multi-brand growth, limited in-store storage and plans for multi-channel/e‑commerce made improved inventory visibility, faster order fulfilment and a paperless operation critical priorities.

The company implemented Manhattan SCALE™ (with local partner PT Integrated Logistics), integrating it with Retail Pro and customer systems like Mothercare to optimise location-based put-away, per-piece and carton picking, and warehouse workflows. Results included a move to a paperless warehouse, faster handling, greater stock visibility and productivity gains — most notably inventory accuracy rising from 88% to 99.8% — positioning the business to support promotions, seasonal demand and upcoming e‑commerce expansion.
