Pearl Drums increases the beat around the world with automated, scalable warehouse solution

Pearl Corporation, a global leader in drums and percussion that ships to 60 countries from multiple distribution centers, faced a pressing challenge: its largely manual distribution processes could not scale to support rapid international growth. The company needed an automated warehouse management solution to increase throughput, improve accuracy and shorten delivery times.

Pearl implemented Manhattan SCALE at its Nashville DC (with rollouts to other U.S., European and Japanese sites), using RF scanning, ASNs, putaway labels and wave/zone picking integrated with its host system. The result: a 22% volume increase without additional staff, order accuracy of 98–99%, orders shipping within 24 hours, staff training cut from weeks to days, and similar efficiency gains at other DCs (10% and 30% volume increases with fewer personnel), enabling scalable global growth.
