Norauto revs up supply chain performance with Manhattan Associates’ solutions

Norauto, a leading European car maintenance and equipment retailer founded in 1970, operates five distribution centres supporting more than 350 stores across multiple countries. Faced with rapid growth from acquisitions and an expensive, obsolete proprietary warehouse system, Norauto needed to reengineer operations to improve logistics productivity, meet automotive tracking standards and raise order accuracy to 99.9%.

Norauto implemented Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management and Slotting Optimisation—integrated with SAP—and complemented it with Vocollect voice recognition, initially deploying at the Lesquin DC within eight months. The new solution cut errors by 75%, achieved 99.9% order accuracy, scaled fulfillment to 60,000 orders/week, optimised inventory and picking processes, reduced warehouse administration and was rolled out to additional distribution centres.
