Batory Foods, a Chicago-based national distributor of food ingredients with seven company-owned and about 30 third-party distribution centers, faced rising industry regulations, greater supply-chain complexity, and heavier documentation requirements that put pressure on its ability to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service across a distributed network.

Batory deployed Manhattan SCALE and SCALE Super User Training, integrating the WMS with its ERP and document management systems to manage certificates of analysis and order documentation. The solution delivered better inventory visibility, standardized processes across DCs, accelerated adoption via a Center of Excellence, and resulted in more accurate order fulfillment, improved customer service, and the ability to scale operations (including a larger Atlanta facility) with plans for a customer portal.
