MOL Logistics gains foothold in the Czech Republic with supply chain solution

MOL Logistics (Czech) s.r.o., the Czech subsidiary of global logistics firm MOL Logistics, grew rapidly after its 2004 launch and outgrew its paper-and-Excel processes. Manual stock counts forced receiving and dispatch to stop, causing delays, inaccuracies and an unsustainable operation as client volumes and complexity increased.

MOL implemented Manhattan SCALE, integrated with customer systems (including SAP and Oracle), with Manhattan consultants supporting the three-month rollout across two sites. The solution delivered minute-level data sharing, handled more than 900,000 serial numbers without data loss, and produced real-time visibility, fewer errors, time savings, greater operational control and improved customer relationships.
