Case Study: Matahari Food Business halves inventory holding and cuts distribution costs with Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management solution

A Manhattan Associates Case Study

Preview of the Matahari Case Study

Matahari Group is top of the crop with Manhattan Associates

Matahari Food Business, the food division of Indonesia’s Matahari Group, needed a more sophisticated, centralised distribution model to support rapid expansion across three major distribution centres and to gain better visibility and control over inventory, throughput and product expiry dates.

They deployed Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management for Open Systems with Slotting Optimisation and Labour Management, plus Indonesian-language training and systems integration. The implementation halved inventory days cover (30 to 14 days), cut distribution costs by 40%, raised on-time-in-full store deliveries to 93% (from 65%), increased throughput and delivered a 15% productivity improvement within one week of slotting.
