Floor & Decor Unveils New Look With Manhattan Demand Forecasting and Replenishment

Floor & Decor, a fast-growing Atlanta-based specialty retailer of hard-surface flooring with more than 130 stores supported by four distribution centers, needed to replace a legacy replenishment system that only forecast at the DC level. That limitation forced manual overrides and poor order projections, leaving the company without accurate demand forecasts or a holistic view of inventory as it scaled.

Floor & Decor implemented Manhattan’s Demand Forecasting and Replenishment (Manhattan Active® Inventory), a phased rollout completed in early 2021 that uses order projections, automatic forecast policy selection and advanced exception management to provide a single view of inventory across DCs and stores. The solution delivered full inventory visibility and significantly improved demand and long-range forecast accuracy, boosting purchasing and DC-to-store flow, raising in‑stock and turnover rates, reducing non‑productive inventory, and enabling faster responses to new SKUs, events and backorders.
