Fluctuating, weather-driven demand and rapidly expanding inventory left the company stretched on storage, picking and overall supply‑chain efficiency, so Ewing sought a modern warehouse management solution to better manage and predict inventory needs.
Ewing implemented Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management and Replenishment to optimize replenishment and warehouse operations. The upgrade doubled inventory accuracy, moved operations from six to five days a week, increased fill rates to roughly 95–98%, boosted throughput by about 50% and reduced labor hours by ~15%, while virtually eliminating errors and overtime and freeing up warehouse capacity for growth.
