Cygnia Expands Warehouse and Customer Service Features With Manhattan Scale™

Cygnia is a fast-growing UK third-party logistics provider that consolidated four sites into a single Northampton distribution centre handling over 20,000 SKUs and up to 10,000 monthly orders for clients such as Ford and Molton Brown. Its legacy warehouse system limited efficiency, obscured operational problems that were routinely overridden, and constrained growth while needing to support complex requirements like shelf-life, customs delays and multi-channel picking.

In a six-month rollout Cygnia implemented Manhattan SCALE, which exposed and resolved operational issues, improved staff processes and enabled rapid integration with carriers. The change increased warehouse capacity from 150,000 to 250,000 sq. ft. (more than 65%), delivered full traceability and batch control, boosted picking productivity and overall responsiveness, and set the company up to adopt voice technology next.
