Canada’s Leading Retailer Builds a Customized End-User Training Solution in Record Time

Home Hardware Stores Limited, Canada’s largest dealer-owned hardware and building materials cooperative with nearly 1,100 stores and about $5.7 billion in annual retail sales, needed to train hundreds of warehouse employees on a new Manhattan Associates supply chain system and updated inventory, shipping and receiving processes. The challenge was to design and deliver a customized, scalable training platform—about 400 new modules—across three large warehouse locations in roughly four months.

Manhattan’s Educational Services Organization used FastTrack Capture and Producer and provided on-site training experts who guided instructional design, taught content-authoring, and troubleshot development. With hands-on support and rapid iteration during initial roll-out, Home Hardware’s team became self-sufficient in three months and delivered 400 modules in under four months, establishing a consistent, scalable training program for hundreds of employees.
