Case Study: adidas Group achieves standardized global distribution, improved inventory accuracy and faster processing with Manhattan Associates' Distribution Management solutions

A Manhattan Associates Case Study

Preview of the Adidas Case Study

Adidas Group implements Manhattan solutions to support global distribution operations

The adidas Group, a global leader in sporting goods, undertook a strategic review of its distribution operations and needed a single, scalable supply chain platform to handle multiple brands, complex global flows and highly automated facilities. The challenge was to replace disparate systems across three strategic distribution centres (Spartanburg, Manchester and Seoul) and integrate with material-handling equipment and ERP while running parallel implementations.

adidas selected Manhattan Associates’ Distribution Management suite—including Warehouse Management for Open Systems, Labour Management, Slotting Optimisation and Supply Chain Intelligence—implemented in the USA, UK and South Korea. The solution integrated with conveyors, sorters, put-to-light, RF and ERP systems, was delivered on time with minimal tuning, and produced a standardized distribution model, faster transaction processing, improved inventory accuracy, greater visibility and richer management information.
