NZ Safety Blackwoods, a 70-year-old supplier of safety equipment, workwear, hygiene and packaging with more than 120,000 products across New Zealand, was struggling with inefficient, paper-based fulfilment processes. The legacy approach led to poor inventory visibility, picking errors, wasted time searching for stock, and delayed or inaccurate shipments. Manhattan Associates implemented Manhattan SCALE to deliver real-time inventory visibility, better stock placement, optimized pick paths and more accurate tracking across the distribution network. The results were strong: picking errors fell from an average of 3.5% to below 1%, inventory accuracy improved, and daily cycle counts became faster and more efficient.
