Sanitary Technical Wholesaler (STG), part of Building Materials Europe, needed to standardize multiple warehouse management systems after merging three Belgian wholesalers and to manage a highly complex product mix and order profile in its expanded Herentals warehouse. The company turned to Manhattan Associates and its Manhattan SCALE™ warehouse management system to bring flexibility, control, and efficiency to operations that handle everything from small fittings to large bathtubs.

Manhattan Associates implemented Manhattan SCALE to provide real-time visibility, flexible labor deployment, and standardized processes across STG’s central warehouse. The results were significant: warehouse occupancy dropped from over 90% to under 70%, inventory turnover improved from 2.7 to 4.5, inventory accuracy rose from 70% to 98%, OTIF increased from 50% to 98%, and the first-time-right rate reached 99.99%, helping STG reduce rework, prevent costly returns, and support continued growth.
