The Kansas City Chiefs faced a major off-field challenge: communicating and engaging 600+ game-day event staff who were scattered across the stadium and relying on fragmented channels—thousands of emails and texts, Facebook groups, and separate scheduling/clock-in systems. To unify that experience, the Chiefs worked with MangoApps to create a branded employee app called Huddle.
MangoApps delivered Huddle as a mobile- and web-accessible superapp that consolidated schedules, clock-in/out, top-down and peer messaging, training, and engagement analytics into one place. The result was a jump to a 90% adoption rate among event staff (from an organizational average of ~40%), the ability to instantly reach 600+ staff, better content engagement insights, and interest from other departments like Security and Stadium Operations.
