Superdrug engaged MangoApps in 2016 to build an easy-to-access, app-based intranet — The Hub — to improve employee engagement, collaboration, learning and a sense of inclusion across its stores and offices. The challenge was to give all employees a single platform for communication, feedback and community that would boost connectivity, brand loyalty and everyday decision-making.

MangoApps delivered The Hub, a social, app-driven intranet used for polls, surveys, online learning and cross-branch networking; the platform helped Superdrug win the 2017 HR Excellence Award for Most Effective Use of Internal Communications. Measurable impacts include more than 150,000 online courses completed, regular use by just over 70% of employees, faster employee insight for decisions, stronger company culture and improved engagement and productivity.
