Case Study: IPC achieves unified global collaboration and streamlined standards approval with MangoApps

A MangoApps Case Study

Preview of the IPC Case Study

How IPC Transformed The Way They Communicate

IPC, a not-for-profit trade association that convenes thousands of industry volunteers to develop electronics manufacturing standards, needed a modern intranet to support a highly dispersed workforce. They required secure file storage, group-based access controls, notification tools, and—critically—a formal, auditable ballot process for approving standards. After evaluating many options, IPC selected MangoApps and branded the solution “IPC Works.”

MangoApps implemented IPC Works with configurable groups, dashboards, chat/messaging, file management and a Ballot tool that identifies authorized voters, enforces response/acceptance thresholds, captures comments, and produces auditable records. The MangoApps rollout—supported by training and responsive support—streamlined communications so volunteers can self-collaborate, eliminated much manual vote maintenance, and “reduced our internal workload immensely,” while delivering a documented, compliant approval workflow.
