BrightSolid, a Dundee‑based technology and cloud company in the DC Thomson Group with offices across the UK and many remote workers, needed a secure, easy‑to‑adopt platform for real‑time team collaboration and a single repository for documents, project tracking and conversations—email was not meeting their needs. They chose MangoApps as their social intranet to support BrightSolid’s culture, improve cross‑office communication and make internal knowledge easy to find and share.

MangoApps delivered a centralized social platform with groups, document sharing, project and task tracking, searchable profiles, secure mobile access, IM and guest user functions. Adoption and engagement rose quickly: daily messages grew from 20 to 300, there are 82 active groups and 100+ active projects, over 10 GB of files uploaded, and about 110+ daily (200 weekly) users out of ~250 employees; roughly 75% of the organisation uses MangoApps regularly. MangoApps has reduced internal email, enabled sharing of very large files (200+ MB), sped onboarding, improved knowledge‑sharing and increased operational visibility and efficiency.
