Doyon Utilities uses ManagerPlus Enterprise to Service the Largest Privatized Utilities Contract in U.S. Military History

Doyon Utilities operates 12 utility systems across three Alaska military cantonments spanning 27,700 acres and serving more than 25,000 people under roughly $4 billion in contracts—the largest privatized utilities award in U.S. military history. Maintaining mission-critical water, heat, power, and gas infrastructure that ranges from 1950s-era equipment to newly upgraded systems, across sites hundreds of miles apart, created challenges in minimizing downtime, meeting strict regulatory requirements, coordinating parts and staff, and prioritizing work during large capital upgrade efforts.

Doyon implemented ManagerPlus Enterprise to centralize asset records, standardize procedures, and shift from reactive to proactive preventive maintenance. The system streamlines work requests, attaches manuals and warranty info to assets, provides built-in reporting for compliance and performance, and helps prioritize and allocate labor across sites. As a result Doyon improved operational visibility and consistency, reduced emergency breakdowns, strengthened regulatory reporting, and enhanced responsiveness and customer relations.
