Timo Digital Bank by BVBank is one of Vietnam’s first digital bank platforms, launched in 2015 to make banking faster, simpler and more accessible. As it grew to more than 350,000 accounts, its legacy core banking setup limited how quickly it could launch products, integrate partners, and meet the expectations of Vietnam’s mobile-first customers, so it turned to Mambu for a modern SaaS banking engine.

Mambu provided Timo with a cloud-native core banking platform on AWS, which was implemented in just two months and expanded into a full banking, payments and mobile platform in six months. Since then, Timo has scaled rapidly, processing tens of millions of monthly transactions, handling billions of API requests, and growing its customer base more than 5x after migrating, while also expanding embedded finance capabilities and earning industry recognition.
