Bank Jago, a tech-based Indonesian bank, needed to transform from a legacy setup into a fully digital, cloud-native model that could compete with fast-moving digital-first banks and fintechs. To support rapid product development, secure scaling, and compliance with local data residency requirements, the bank partnered with Mambu and adopted its composable core banking platform.
Mambu implemented Bank Jago’s SaaS core banking platform in just seven months, enabling the launch of a modern retail banking suite across daily banking, savings, payments, transactions, and lending. The Jago App later introduced life-centric features like shared accounts and group money management, and the bank grew to over 18 million customers by mid-2025, with total assets reaching IDR 32.4 trillion and net profit more than doubling.
