Forging deeper relationships with SMEs

Recognise Bank, a UK challenger focused on bespoke lending and savings for SMEs, set out to restore relationship-led, personalised business banking for a sector long underserved by rigid, call-centre-driven models. To avoid costly re-platforming and gain a composable, cloud-native foundation, Recognise Bank partnered with Mambu and adopted Mambu’s SaaS banking platform, including the Mambu Process Orchestrator and REST APIs, to deliver the speed and flexibility it needed.

Working with Mambu, Recognise Bank built a cloud-led, integrated stack with partners such as ClearBank, nCino and Microsoft Dynamics to enable real-time payments, streamlined compliance and seamless accounting. The Mambu solution was at least five times faster to set up than a traditional core, cut costs, and helped Recognise generate £1 billion in lending enquiries and lend £100 million in commercial loans in its first 12 months, while launching savings products and improving product agility and customer experience. Mambu’s platform also enabled Recognise to configure and launch new products autonomously, driving better economics and customer loyalty.
