Case Study: Lipari Foods prevents ransomware disruptions and simplifies endpoint protection with Malwarebytes

A Malwarebytes Case Study

Preview of the Lipari Foods Case Study

The company distributes Malwarebytes to its corporate and mobile endpoints to prevent zero-day and ransomware attacks

Lipari Foods, a distributor of more than 15,000 deli, bakery, dairy, meat, seafood, confection, and packaging products, faced a surge of malware—including Cryptolocker ransomware—delivered via infected emails, malvertising, and exploits that their signature-based antivirus was missing. Infections forced the help desk to quarantine and often re-image machines, disrupting field sales and reducing productivity, so the IT team needed stronger, easier-to-manage protection across both corporate and mobile endpoints.

The company deployed Malwarebytes Endpoint Security (Anti-Malware, Anti-Exploit, and the Management Console) across about 250 endpoints, enabling quick installs for mobile users and centralized monitoring and remediation. The multilayered solution blocked further successful ransomware incidents, simplified management and updates, reduced the need to re-image machines, and restored productivity and confidence in the organization’s defenses.
