A Malwarebytes Case Study
Peninsula Grammar, a co-educational K–12 school of about 1,400 students on the Mornington Peninsula, faced widespread malware on student and staff laptops after holiday use. Malware infections and hijacked browsers forced the firewall to block access, created classroom downtime, and left the IT team swamped with long remediation queues while traditional antivirus tools were bypassed or disabled.
The school deployed Malwarebytes Endpoint Security via the Management Console, which immediately cleaned thousands of threats, reduced infections by more than 90%, and stopped PUPs and ransomware—including preventing any WannaCry incidents. The solution reclaimed significant IT hours through automated scans and centralized monitoring, enabled proactive protection and student education, and restored confidence in endpoint security and regulatory compliance.
