Case Study: Western Dairy Transport stops ransomware and saves at least four hours a day with Malwarebytes

A Malwarebytes Case Study

Preview of the Western Dairy Transport Case Study

Malwarebytes detection and remediation exceeds expectations

Western Dairy Transport (WDT) is the nation’s largest milk and dairy hauler, operating 12 locations and serving customers across 48 states and Mexico. With laptops, PCs, and servers spread across remote sites, WDT found its existing Trend Micro antivirus required many exclusions and was missing spyware, malware and ultimately allowed a significant ransomware infection that slowed users and strained IT resources.

WDT trialed Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection on 50 problematic systems, deploying it remotely and using the cloud console for centralized visibility. Malwarebytes blocked malicious websites and command-and-control traffic, stopped further ransomware infections, and freed IT from daily cleanup—saving at least four hours per day—while giving management greater confidence in protecting sensitive data.
