Langdale puts an end to malware firefighting

Langdale Industries, a family-owned forestry holding company supporting 23 affiliates from its Valdosta, Georgia headquarters, was repeatedly hit by Trojans, adware, spyware and a ransomware attack that encrypted shared files on two servers. Existing antivirus tools missed threats, leaving the IT team to spend many hours per incident manually investigating and remediating infections.

After a short proof of concept, Langdale deployed Malwarebytes Endpoint Security and the Management Console across headquarters and affiliates. Within a week systems were cleaned, new infections fell to almost zero, ransomware was prevented, and IT staff were freed to work on higher-value projects—along with a stronger ongoing partnership with the vendor.
