Inter Aneka rewrites its formula for ransomware protection

Inter Aneka is a large specialty and industrial chemical manufacturer based in Jakarta with 10 branch offices across Indonesia. After the 2017 WannaCry outbreak, the company sought stronger endpoint protection—its existing Kaspersky deployment still allowed adware and spyware and couldn’t risk operational disruption from ransomware, especially with a portion of users working mobile or BYOD.

Inter Aneka replaced Kaspersky with Malwarebytes Endpoint Security and rolled it out via the Malwarebytes Management Console to desktops and mobile devices. The solution delivers real-time protection, automated scans and updates, and automatic cleanup of adware/spyware, resulting in no ransomware incidents, less time spent cleaning infected machines, and simpler, centralized endpoint management.
