Food For The Hungry Stops Malware In Its Tracks

Food for the Hungry, a global nonprofit with about 2,000 staff in 20+ countries and roughly 1,500 endpoints, faced frequent malware infections—often introduced via flash drives and shared internet cafés—that crippled remote machines and forced IT to spend a third to half of their time on cleanup. Their existing antivirus missed region-specific and zero‑hour threats, disrupting access to web‑based applications and diverting resources from the organization’s mission.

FH rolled out 1,000 licenses of Malwarebytes Anti‑Malware for Business (with Management Console), deploying it across regions and on offline endpoints during IT visits. The lightweight, real‑time protection detected infections other tools missed, stopped spread, and cut hours or days from remediation while coexisting with their antivirus—improving endpoint security, preserving performance, and allowing staff to focus on fighting poverty and hunger.
