Central Virginia Health Services deploys preventive medicine for malware

Central Virginia Health Services is a nonprofit community health organization serving over 40,000 patients across 16 locations. Its dispersed workforce relies on endpoint computers for medical and administrative work, but the existing McAfee antivirus missed web- and email-delivered threats, causing slow systems, pop-ups, and frequent user calls that the small IT team could not realistically resolve in person.

After a 50-system trial, the IT team deployed Malwarebytes Endpoint Security and the Malwarebytes Management Console to provide multi-layer detection, remediation, web- and ransomware blocking, and centralized monitoring. The solution stopped and removed malware before it affected servers or endpoints, simplified statewide endpoint management, reduced user disruption and support calls, and freed the IT team to focus on higher-value work.
