AvMed, a Florida health insurer serving more than 340,000 members, was experiencing a rising volume of nuisance-ware, malicious URLs, exploits and ransomware that slowed user machines and forced IT to repeatedly clean or re-image endpoints. With McAfee on servers but not on desktops (due to performance concerns) and limited visibility into infections, the security team needed a lightweight, effective way to stop threats before they put member data at risk.

AvMed deployed Malwarebytes Endpoint Security (Anti‑Malware, Anti‑Exploit and the Management Console) via Microsoft System Center and rolled it out companywide, including Mac support. The centralized console and scheduled scans gave the team clear visibility into infections, dramatically reduced IT time spent remediating machines, cut the number of infections and re‑images, and delivered ongoing, proactive protection with fast threat updates.
