A major retail and leisure destination, the Rock Bury, worked with Mallcomm to increase user adoption of its tenant engagement platform and streamline a key operational process. The challenge was to find an efficient digital alternative to an in-person system for applying for a reduced-rate parking scheme, which they hoped would also incentivize more retail staff to use the app.

Mallcomm implemented a solution on the Savills Insights platform that created a streamlined digital ticketing function for parking applications. This allowed tenants to apply via a simple form and receive notifications on their application status. As a result, the process generated over 50 applications during a lockdown period and successfully drove new users to download the app. Mallcomm's solution made the previously manual process far more efficient for both tenants and the management team.
