Metrocentre, a large UK shopping centre managed by Savills, sought to improve communications with on-site retailers and streamline their operational task scheduling. The challenge was to efficiently manage daily pre-opening, peak, and post-trade checks across the vast site. To address this, they turned to vendor Mallcomm for a digital solution.

Mallcomm implemented its ticketing and auditing tool, which allowed the duty manager team to conduct and digitally track recurring facility checks from any mobile device. This paperless system saved time and resources, providing digital reports and an interactive dashboard for results. The solution was highly successful, resulting in 993 audits completed, 243 registered tenants, and a 94.5% tenant activation rate on the platform.
