EDMCouncil deploys ontology platform across 4 projects with MakoLab

EDMCouncil, a leader in data management standards, faced significant challenges in the collaborative development of standardized ontologies, lacking a dedicated platform to handle workflow, version control, and quality control issues. To address this, MakoLab delivered a comprehensive open-source platform to streamline this process.

MakoLab's solution integrated a customized GitHub repository, a Jenkins CD/CI pipeline for automated testing, and a user-friendly web application for end-users. This platform is now successfully deployed for four major ontological projects: FIBO for finance, IDMP-O for pharmaceuticals, AUTO for the automotive industry, and the Industrial Ontologies Foundry for digital manufacturing, driving innovation and efficiency across these sectors.
