Makersite implemented a solution that used AI to evaluate life cycle assessments (LCAs) and automate data collection from Cummins' ERP and PLM systems. This provided instant transparency, enabled multi-level analysis of supply chain data from cost and environmental perspectives, and streamlined the creation of sustainability reports. As a result, Cummins standardized its internal data, gained the ability to trace a product's journey for reporting, and built a foundational data layer to support its ambitious 2030 Planet 2050 sustainability goals.
