Rumpl, the outdoor brand known for its “Outdoor blanket,” wanted to improve margins on its top-selling Original Puffy line. After inconclusive price testing on its own e-commerce site, the team turned to MakerSights and its Price Optimization capabilities to better understand how pricing affected consumer demand and perceived value.
MakerSights built a quick, e-commerce-like survey using Conjoint Analysis to test price sensitivity and identify the best price points for the Original Puffy blankets. The results came back in two weeks and showed Rumpl could raise prices by $15–25, helping the brand implement differentiated pricing by style and lift margins by about 10% while maintaining demand.
