Little Lion Entertainment launches Chaos Karts in 3 locations with Make Real

Little Lion Entertainment faced the challenge of creating a new, dynamic go-karting experience that was not limited by a single physical track layout. Their vision was to combine real-world racing with augmented reality to create a real-life video game. To bring this idea to life and secure funding, they partnered with the vendor Make Real to develop an initial prototype.

Make Real developed a complex software solution that integrated projected augmented reality tracks, electric go-karts, and a sophisticated tracking system. This technology blended the real and virtual worlds, allowing for interactive power-ups and ensuring racer safety. The successful prototype deployed in 2021 led to the launch of the full Chaos Karts experience in Manchester and Dubai, garnering positive media attention and reviews. For Make Real, the project resulted in a scalable location-based entertainment product with the potential for infinite virtual tracks.
