A greenfield health insurer, formed as a joint venture between leading Indian and German players, faced a two‑month launch target and needed a single, flexible platform to support multiple product lines, rapid product launches, end‑to‑end health insurance processes, finance/document integrations, and digital distribution for both retail and corporate customers.

Majesco delivered an end‑to‑end solution using Majesco Policy for L&A Group, Distribution Management and Digital Services (tablet‑based policy issuance, lead and activity management), creating a virtual sales/operations office that reached even remote areas. The insurer grew from zero to over 3 million retail policies and 9,241 master group policies, serving about 10.3 million customers, achieved INR 1,100 Cr revenue, became India’s second‑largest health insurer, expanded to 7,500 agents, and reached breakeven with a profit of INR 5.1 Cr within six years.
