Sodexo, operating five cafeteria units at Principal Financial Group headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, needed to improve speed of service for guests while handling a high volume of daily transactions. Maitre’D implemented a flexible, easy-to-use POS setup with reporting tools and high-speed credit card processing, helping Sodexo cut credit card transaction times from 15–20 seconds to 2–3 seconds. The vendor’s solution also reduced 28 labor hours per week and delivered more than $19,000 in annual savings, while giving Sodexo data to make faster, fact-based business decisions.
