Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center - Customer Case Study

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Conemaugh Health System serving 11 counties in west-central Pennsylvania, needed to improve foodservice speed and operational efficiency across its Lee and Main campuses. Their challenges included an aging POS on Lee, a different system on Main, and the need for centralized reporting to better manage inventory, sales/cost analysis and receivables.

The center standardized and upgraded both campuses to Maitre’D POS, adding kiosks and modules for Accounts Receivable, EFT, gift cards, inventory and scale integration, with implementation, training and support from SCR Systems. As a result they saw a significant increase in customers served per hour, easier self-service ordering, and streamlined centralized reporting that improved inventory control, financial analysis and overall reliability.
