Barnie’s Coffee & Tea, founded in 1980 and operating more than 100 company-owned and franchised locations, needed a turnkey POS and back-office solution to tighten inventory control, streamline scheduled downloads and reporting, reduce labor and operating costs, and improve store uptime and manageability across the chain.
Barnie’s implemented the Windows-based Maitre’D POS and back-office suite, giving managers real-time store visibility, detailed reporting and remote management tools. As a result, operating costs for two key inventory items dropped by more than 15%, labor scheduling became data-driven (reducing labor costs), downtime was dramatically reduced, and overall financial decision-making improved through accurate, complete store data.
