Lineage Logistics, the world's largest temperature-controlled supply chain company, faced a significant challenge related to its high energy costs and grid dependency. Committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, the company urgently needed a clean, resilient, on-site power generation solution to protect its operations from utility rate hikes and grid outages. To address this, they turned to Mainspring Energy for its innovative power generation technology.

Mainspring Energy implemented a solution at a Lineage facility combining two of its 230kW Linear Generators with a 3.3MW rooftop solar array. The successful deployment led to a major agreement to roll out up to 150 generators across Lineage's U.S. network. This provides Lineage with substantial cost savings, improved energy resilience to keep food cold during outages, and a path to using 100% green fuels, firmly supporting their sustainability goals.
