The Product Folks, a large community for product managers, faced the challenge of transforming their popular but underutilized newsletter into a more engaging medium to foster deeper community participation without adding complexity. They turned to the vendor Mailmodo and its interactive AMP emails to implement a solution.
Mailmodo provided a solution with a drag-and-drop editor and prebuilt widgets, enabling the creation of interactive emails featuring quizzes, challenges, and in-mail feedback forms. This eliminated the need for coding and allowed for a gamified experience directly within the inbox. The results were a significant increase in community engagement, with Mailmodo helping The Product Folks activate 15% of their members into the broader community through the new interactive newsletter.
