A Mailjet Case Study
Snipandshare is a London startup whose Chrome extension lets users quickly snip and share excerpts, screenshots and GIFs. Because email is the product’s primary delivery channel, founders Ripul Agarwal and Gino Martini needed fast, reliable transactional email; using shared servers with providers like Elastic Mail and Mandrill caused poor deliverability, many messages landing in spam, slow global delivery (sometimes up to 30 minutes), and limited API flexibility for generating unique sender addresses.
The team migrated to Mailjet and worked with its Developer Relations team to implement a RESTful solution (using the /contactlists endpoints) that generates a unique sender ID for each snip and enabled thorough pair-debugging during integration. The result: worldwide delivery in under one minute, a 98% deliverability rate, and up to 30x faster sending, backed by responsive support that helped build the custom workflow.
