Chingu is a U.S.-based organization that helps developers gain real-world experience through remote six-week “Voyage” team projects. As its global cohorts grew, the team’s manual email process—copying addresses, sending individual messages, and managing reminders by hand—became a bottleneck. Chingu needed a more scalable way to handle onboarding, credentials, and project communications, so it turned to Mailjet’s Email API and templates.
Mailjet helped Chingu automate and streamline cohort communications with drag-and-drop templates, transactional email, SMTP Relay, contact management, and a lightweight REST API. The result was faster onboarding, more consistent messaging, and about 10,000 monthly emails delivered reliably with a “Good” deliverability rating. Mailjet also saved the team hours of manual work and helped keep participants engaged and projects on schedule.
